The staircase continues up to Stargate’s observatory tower, equipped as a secluded office with a DSL + Wi-Fi connection for your laptop and a printer, and with wonderful views from Magens all the way around to the British Virgin Islands and St. John.

Refuge

As its name suggests, Refuge is the place to go for a ‘get-away-from-it-all’ vacation. Private and peaceful, it’s ideally suited to families, couples and small groups of friends looking for a stylish retreat with direct access to a virgin beach. Just 60 feet up from the white sands and turquoise waters of Brewer’s Bay, this lovely 3-bedroom beach villa feels remote and exclusive, even though it’s within easy reach of the neighborhood shops and restaurants.

On either side of the upper-level entry foyer are two bedroom suites: a king master suite with its own kitchenette and a two-twin bed suite. A curved staircase leads to The Refuge’s main level, with the kitchen, dining area and great room on one side and the second king master suite on the other. In the middle is a powder room and French doors which open out to a small deck graced by chaise lounges and the refreshing plunge pool with unobstructed views across the bay.

You can also enjoy an alfresco meal in the dining gazebo that offers plenty of seating and views of the pool area.
