Rocky Point

Escape to Parrot Cay in classic Caribbean style at Rocky Point villa. Located on the northwestern side of the island, the three-bedroom estate has two acres of beachfront property, gorgeous ocean views and tropical style to spare. Hide away and enjoy the private pool, oceanfront decks and screened-in porches, or take advantage of the amenities offered by the Parrot Cay resort.

Step outside the villa onto a deck lined with chaise longues and umbrellas. Spend the day in the private heated infinity pool (or at the beach, just beyond the pool) and the night at the outdoor dining area. The resort offers a shared pool, tennis courts, gym, restaurants, and outdoor activities, as well as a daily breakfast. For quiet evenings in, the villa has satellite TV, Internet access and air conditioning.

The villa’s interiors use a traditional Caribbean palette of white walls and darker wood, but on clean-lined modern furniture. In the airy living room, slipcovered sofas, a minimal coffee table and sheer drapes put the emphasis on the ocean view, while the mod dining room uses cream and linen tones to soothing effect. The fully equipped kitchen shares the scheme of white walls and wood cabinetry, and can be stocked upon request.

Each of the three bedrooms has a king bed, en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers and a screened-in porch. For added privacy, the master bedroom is detached. Air conditioning, ceiling fans, and safes ensure comfort and peace of mind, and each bathroom is stocked with a hair dryer, toiletries and bathrobes to make packing a breeze.

During your stay, take time to explore the resort’s trails, request cook service and rent equipment from a barbecue to snorkel gear. Bring your rackets, as the tennis courts are a 2-minute walk away. From the villa, it’s about 1 mile to the main resort area, where you’ll find a grocery store, restaurants and a gym. Your stay includes an airport transfer, but if you’d like to do some exploring, the town of Providenciales is about 30 minutes away by boat, and the Provo Golf Course is about 45 minutes away.

Bougainvillea

Come to Bougainvillea for the location close to the beach, golf and shopping; stay for the modern style and thoughtful details. With an inviting layout around a pool and courtyard and four suite-style bedrooms in the main house and guest cottage, the property is spacious, comfortable and private.

Start each day at Bougainvillea with a coffee or mimosa in the breezy courtyard, then move to one of the chaise longues on the terrace by the pool and hot tub. If it gets too warm, retreat to the pergola-covered lounge area on the terrace. In the evening, take advantage of the island location and balmy weather by prepping local seafood on the barbecue and enjoying dinner at the table under the pergola. After the sun sets, catch a movie in the home theater, check email via Wi-Fi or challenge friends to a game at the foosball table.

The villa’s interiors are a welcoming mix of traditional and modern influences. From the outside, a tiled mansard roof and blue shutters have Mediterranean appeal, echoed on the inside by exposed ceiling beams. Multiple seating areas in the spacious living room feature a mix of styles, from William Birch sofas and slipper chairs to tuxedo sofas and carved-wood armchairs. Two dining areas let you choose between a casual or formal atmosphere for your meal, and the fully equipped state-of-the-art kitchen makes cooking a pleasure.

There are four bedrooms in the main house and additional rooms in the guest cottage; all have iPod docking stations. In the main house, there are two bedrooms with king beds, including a master suite with ensuite bathroom and jetted tub, one bedroom with a queen bed and another with two twin beds. The additional room in the guest cottage has a twin bed. An additional bunk room in the cottage, perfect for kids, has six twin beds.

You can’t miss the beach while you’re in the Bahamas, and at Bougainvillea you’re just a 1-mile drive from Smuggler’s Beach and just over a 2-mile drive from Paradise Beach and the attractions at Atlantis. It’s an easy 1-mile drive to Paradise Island Golf Club and 1.5 -mile drive to Paradise island Shopping Plaza. When your stay on the island is over, make the 13-mile drive to Lynden Pindling International Airport.

Accommodation is flexible for different groups of guests as the property comes with two separate 2-bedroom guest cottages. The main house has 4 bedrooms, each with their own terraces, king beds and en-suite bathrooms.

Like the main living areas, the bedrooms are beautifully appointed, with four-poster beds, plush Persian-style rugs, traditional portrait paintings and marble tile in the en-suite bathrooms.
