The island of St. Barts, with its perpetual sunshine, offers some of the top beaches and restaurants in the Caribbean as well as upscale boutique shopping.

Enjoy some down time on the private terrace overlooking the yachts in the harbor and the surrounding hills. There’s a dining and seating area that is perfect for alfresco meals or relaxing with a glass of wine underneath the stars. Start your day at Villa Equinox with breakfast on the veranda, then move to the adjacent sitting area, a lounge chair on the lawn, or one of several chaises on the pool terrace. In the back yard, you’ll find a large terrace overlooking the property’s manicured lawn and towards the distant sea. Choose from one of the many comfy loungers that surround the large swimming pool and sip on a cocktail. The pool is also a great spot for night swimming, thanks to underwater lighting. A row of bar stools line one side of the terrace connecting to the villa’s kitchen, for easy access to drinks and snacks. Under the covered portion of the patio is a large sitting area as well as a dining table, perfect for enjoying an alfresco meal while watching a sunset.

The interior of the home is contemporary with an airy, open-concept great room, soaring ceilings, stylish furnishings and travertine flooring throughout. The living room opens up to the terrace and includes wicker furnishings with soft plush cushions surrounding a flatscreen TV. Nestled in Hillside, Villa Escapade is one of our top St. Martin villas, thanks to its island and ocean views, as well as its spacious back terrace. Owned by both the French and Dutch governments, the tropical island of St. Martin is known for its colorful trees, fantastic beaches and its eclectic nightlife scene.

Unwind on the ample-sized patio boasting sweeping views of the Simpson Bay Lagoon and the Caribbean sea beyond. Take your pick from one of the many cushioned lounge chairs and relax with a cold drink from the outdoor bar. The centerpiece is a large infinity- edge pool that appears to drop off over the bay. As a part of a small enclave of homes you will also have access to a nearby, shared tennis court where you can challenge your guests to a friendly match.

The interior of this airy home features soaring beamed ceilings, tile flooring and natural light from the villa’s many windows. The great room opens up to the terrace and includes a large living space with a flatscreen TV and plenty of seating on soft cushioned wicker furnishings. A marble-topped dining table sits just across from the living room and you can craft a home-cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen that includes a marble-topped island and windows that fully open up to the terrace.
