Ocean Breeze Villa

One of the best Bahamas beaches meets stately elegance at Ocean Breeze. Set on the white sands and turquoise waters of Paradise Island, this luxury home is part of the prestigious gated Ocean Club Estates. Five bedrooms and incredible Italian-inspired architecture mean the whole family can stay at this private rental villa for a beach vacation or golf getaway.

Guests of Ocean Breeze have access to both Atlantis Resort and the One & Only Ocean Club during their stay. The villa itself is just steps from the beach and opens to a private terrace with lounging and dining areas, a swimming pool and a barbecue—the perfect spot to watch the waves roll in and out. Inside, there’s an exercise pool for the active and a hot tub for those who just want to relax, as well as a home theatre, fireplace and Wi-Fi for quiet evenings in after days on the beach or the golf course.

Ocean Breeze pairs refined Mediterranean architecture and Caribbean color with aplomb. Sweeping balustrades, arched windows and wrought-iron gates make a formal statement on the exterior, and the grandeur continues inside thanks to polished marble floors, dark wood molding and arched doorways framed by full-length drapes. But there are playful hints of tropical hues, too, like the shades of sky blue and sunny yellow on the seating and curtains in the formal living and dining rooms. The more casual great room encompasses a TV area with a large sectional, a welcoming round breakfast table and a generous-sized fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar.

There are four bedrooms in the main house at Ocean Breeze and one in the guest house; all five have en-suite bathrooms. In the main house, one bedroom has a king bed, two have queen beds and one has two twin beds. The guest-house bedroom has a queen bed, and there’s also a queen fold-out sofa bed in the guest house living room. Dark wood trim, rich cream-colored walls and jewel-toned bedding and drapes in the bedrooms give a traditional ambience that makes the palm tree and ocean views outside both a delight and a bit of a surprise.

Not only is the house beautiful, but Ocean Breeze is located on a prime piece of Bahamas real estate. It’s just steps from the gorgeous sands of Cabbage Beach and an 8-minute drive from Paradise Island Golf Club. Spend an afternoon at the One & Only Ocean Club, 1.5 miles away, or discover the dining and casino at Atlantis Resort, just under 3 miles away. Head to the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal, 2 miles away, to travel to downtown Nassau or back to Lynden Pindling International Airport, 14 miles from the villa.
