A Truly Flexible Property
This property allows two to three families or six couples to holiday in perfect harmony.
Based on the popular Mustique theme of a central entertaining building with separate sleeping accommodation in individual lodges, the architecture is an intriguing mixture of modern and classic.
With plenty of opportunity for privacy and socialising together when congregating in the magnificent Great Lodge for meals and relaxation.
This property also works well for one or two couples to stay in, having the whole estate privately to themselves for a quiet luxurious escape.
Swimming Pool
Coral stone steps lead down from the Great Lodge verandah and garden to the 45ft x 15ft swimming pool. Surrounded by a generous coral stone terrace, this pool has a shady gazebo at one end and a raised hard wood decked area at the other. Being an infinity pool, the view from the pool over Hope Bay is truly spectacular. The fresh water is cleaned by a salt sanitizer.
Hope Bay
There is no road down to Hope Bay, only a track, ensuring that it retains its extraordinary wild and remote feel. The beach itself is about a quarter of a mile long with a backdrop of an old coconut tree plantation. The sea temperature is always warm but being on the Atlantic side, the waves are sometimes very exciting.
Gardens & Grounds
The property is situated on the edge of Mount Pleasant overlooking Hope Bay, arguably one of the best and most exclusive locations on Bequia. This site has the ideal combination of relatively flat land at the top for the buildings and gardens, then below this the land slopes down providing excellent separation and privacy.
All the planting has been carefully selected for its suitability to the site and has been sourced locally. The gardens include Frangipani, palm, mahogany and fruit trees. Scented plants include jasmine and there is plenty of local colour such as hibiscus, periwinkle and plumbago. Garden and exterior pathways are lit by a dawn ’til dusk automated lighting system.

Our team are based on Bequia and we have a special relationship with this lovely property. On your arrival you will be welcomed by a member of our team to the property. The team will be on hand to assist with any questions you have for the tour of the house and to assist with island concierge assistance. You also will be introduced to the properties house manager and key staff. We provide continuity through from your enquiry stage to your departure.
The Great Lodge
The Great Lodge comprises of a surprisingly huge reception room measuring 1092 sq ft with teak floorboards and full-height precision-made sliding glass panels which open fully along the entire length of the room, welcoming in the cooling tradewinds.
Spacious Broad Verandah
A 12 ft deep wrap-around verandah with Peruvian mahogany floorboards presents guests with an area for total relaxation and sublime ocean views. Approached along jasmine-scented paths through a coral stone tiled entrance garden this building is centrally placed within the property and forms the main entertaining space.
Luxurious Sitting Room
A separate sitting room with a large flat screen TV and comfortable sofas for relaxing. The sitting room adjoins the main central space.
Magnificent Kitchen Facilities
A fully-fitted working kitchen with stainless steel units and stone worktops, range cooker, double fridge, freezer and coffee-maker is located in this Great Lodge offering the ideal space for food preparation and storage.
The Master Lodges
Situated on each side of the Great Lodge, these 2 lodges comprise of very spacious double bedrooms, adjoining sitting rooms, fully-fitted dressing rooms and bathrooms, one has an adjoining shower in addition to the bath. A spacious decked verandah on each lodge affords wonderful views over the sea below for guests to enjoy.
Guest Lodge
The Guest Lodge has a very spacious double bedroom, fully-fitted dressing room and bathroom and shares the panoramic views across the ocean that all the lodges enjoy.
Family Lodge
The Family Lodge has 3 bedrooms, 2 on the ground floor, ideal for children or teenagers, and the larger of the 3 on the first floor. All 3 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.
