Spend a lazy day lounging on one of the cushioned sun chairs in the back yard, they surround the swimming pool or face the sea. The manicured gardens with tropical greenery and palm trees, offer a tranquil space to unwind. You won’t need to lift a finger while staying here—complimentary housekeeping, laundry and a chef service are included as extra amenities.

Inside, the living room boasts comfortable furnishings and accents in neutral-colored tones, including a plush L-shaped sofa. You can’t get any closer to the beach than staying in this six-bedroom coral stone home, one of only three villas located directly on Sandy Lane Beach—it’s not hard to see why it’s one of our top villas in Barbados. The island of Barbados is known for its fine beaches, warm climate and coral reefs.

Sleep in and then enjoy a morning coffee while lounging on one of the many sun chairs spread throughout the manicured tropical grounds. Afterwards, head towards the sand, the beach is just steps away! Along its platinum shore, you’ll find a private area with cushioned lounge chairs and sweeping views of the bay. The clear, turquoise waters are great for snorkeling and swimming. This home also comes fully staffed with services from a butler, cook, maid and a 24-hour security guard six days a week.

The open-air living room allows you to still enjoy tropical breezes from the space’s plush white sofas and armchairs, while the vaulted wood ceilings with fans also help keep things cool. When you’re hungry you can enjoy meals out in the separate dining pagoda, or fire up the barbecue and grill a casual meal to enjoy on the terrace’s informal dining table.

A maximum of 12 guests can stay in this estate’s six bedrooms, all feature air conditioning and are individually decorated. The home’s master suite boasts a king size bed, while other rooms range in size from singles to kings. Four rooms in the main house offer views of the bay and gardens, while the two remaining suites are located in a separate cottage. Boasting a tree-house ambiance, the cottage has its own living and dining areas sitting on an upper level patio.

If you peel yourself away from the beach, you’ll be able to enjoy the tennis turf next door at the Sandy Lane Property Owners’ courts, as well as nearby golfing. Holetown’s restaurants and shops are just a five-minute walk away.

Spectacular Sunwatch is set in two acres of perfectly landscaped gardens overlooking the spectacular blue seas of the Caribbean and is part of the exclusive Sugar Hill Resort Community. This spacious single story villa offers magnificent unobstructed views of the West Coast.

Sympathetically designed by renowned local architects Gillespie and Steel, Sunwatch utilizes the natural contours of the land and makes the most of cooling trade winds. The driveway crosses a wooden bridge spanning a lily pond set in a quiet garden-courtyard and opens out to the awe-inspiring superb view. The centrally positioned main living area has an airy double height vaulted ceiling and leads onto the expansive covered terrace. Adjacent to the lounge is a large den, equipped with CD/VCR/DVD players, satellite TV and 42″ Plasma TV linking to a speaker system for your enjoyment both inside and out. The den is also en-suite and is equipped with a steam shower. There is also a separate study/library with Wi-Fi access and printer should you need to attend to business. The bedroom wing is privately positioned off to one side of the main living area, with the service bar, kitchen and picturesque dining terrace on the opposite side.

Outside amenities include a fifteen meter, freeform, infinity edge pool, (with slide to a lower pool) a hot tub, a pool gazebo with bar and informal dining space and a built in barbeque. Below the pool deck is a kid’s playhouse and games area, complete with table football, table tennis, basketball net and darts.

The bedroom wing comprises two luxurious master bedrooms and two well-appointed twin bedrooms, all have individually designed en-suite, air conditioning, ceiling fans and covered patios. The two master bedrooms also include private dressing areas. There is a detached two-bedroom cottage on the grounds that include a shower room and kitchenette, this could be ideal for teenagers, staff or a couple with children. The cottage is available for rental with the main house.

Guests of Sunwatch have use of all the amenities of the gated Sugar Hill Community including the clubhouse with large pool area, restaurants, gym and members lounge and the first class David Lloyd tennis facilities. Guests also have membership of the private beach facilities of Fairmont Royal Pavilion Beach Club.

It is a 2 minute drive to Royal Westmoreland and a 5 minute drive to Holetown.Sandy Lane Beach is a 10 minute drive and Paynes Bay Beach a 15 minute drive. Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI) is a 35 minute drive.
