The villa Caprice is a gorgeous refurbished four-bedroom home, and is one of our must-see Barbados vacation rentals. You’ll find it located directly on the platinum sandy beach with stunning views of the water. The island of Barbados offers a perfect balance of West African, English and Caribbean culture along with stunning beaches and scenery.

Relax on a comfy lounger on the villa’s private wooden terrace surrounded by mature trees and tropical vegetation. The covered portion of the patio features a coral stone table and is an ideal location for an alfresco meal. From here, you will have direct access to the beach through a private gate. If you’d rather stay closer to home, there’s also a second more secluded terrace with a plunge pool and water feature that lights up beautifully at night.

This Colonial-style villa has been beautifully refurbished with marble flooring and high-end fixtures throughout. The airy living room is done in soothing tones of beige, brown and creams and includes multiple seating areas, plush sofas. It also opens up to the verandah through large French doors that show off garden and sea views. The fully equipped kitchen features custom cabinetry, a tall, wooden ceiling and marble countertops.

The villa’s four bedrooms will comfortably sleep up to eight guests; two are found on the main level with the remaining two upstairs. Both bedrooms on the top floor (including the master king sized suite), boast private balconies with sea views. All sleeping quarters include air conditioning, a ceiling fan and private en-suite bathrooms.

With close access to the beach, you will be able to spend lots of time sunbathing and snorkeling in the clear waters along the reef. A 10-minute drive brings you to historic Speightstown, where you can spend time shopping in boutique stores, lounging at cafes and dining at elegant restaurants.

Manoir de Lorient

This renovated luxury home sits on the hillside in Lorient, and is one of our most historic St. Barts villa rentals. Discovered in 1493 and settled by French colonists in 1643, the island of St. Barts is a tropical paradise with unspoiled beaches that attract the rich and famous from around the world.

Surrounded by manicured gardens you and your guests can unwind in privacy on the exotic wooden terrace and courtyard. Its centerpiece is a swimming pool large enough to practice your backstroke that also boasts dramatic lighting in the evening. A heated jet tub with room for four is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of champagne under the stars, meanwhile a daily housekeeping service (except for Sundays and holidays), ensures the place stays spotless during your stay.

The villa’s living space is divided between multiple bungalows, all boasting walls that open up to the gardens and courtyard. The main living space is found in a bungalow featuring dark blue furnishings, soaring ceilings and wooden accents. There’s plenty of seating, as well as garden views and a stand up piano. In the well-equipped gourmet kitchen you’ll find appliances like a dishwasher, microwave and even an espresso machine.

Each of the villa’s five bedrooms are located in separate bungalows, allowing for up to ten guests—all boast a contemporary, minimalist decor and either garden or terrace views. The master, king-sized bedroom includes a large en-suite bathroom and an alfresco shower. The remaining four bedrooms all feature a queen-sized bed.

Just steps from the white-sand Lorient beach you and your guests can enjoy time in the sun and in the surf. A two minute drive brings you to some restaurants as well as a supermarket, and the town of Gustavia, just 10 minutes away, offers plenty of boutique shopping, restaurants and entertainment.

BWH – La Fleur de Mer

From the moment you enter La Fleur de Mer’s prestigious front gate, boasting steps edged with cascading water, you’ll know you’ve discovered unprecedented levels of luxury. Perched high in the Colombier hills and offering views across all of St. Barts, this villa integrates traditional colonial architecture into the island’s natural features.

The back terrace stretches the length of the main home and offers you a stunning panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea. Enjoy a fresh breakfast al fresco while watching boats skim across the water below. Soak up the afternoon sun on a cushioned chaise then float along in one of the island’s largest infinity pools. Relax in the shade provided by numerous palm trees that flank the terrace.

Inside, rich mahogany décor, combine with vaulted ceilings and fine art to create an ambiance of colonial elegance. Sink into a living room chair and enjoy an incredible ocean view. The fully-equipped kitchen is ideal for creating memorable meals and is equally suited for catered events. The air conditioned library, which also features an entertainment system and a comprehensive fitness room is housed in its own unit off the main house.

Pass the courtyard’s koi pond you’ll encounter 4 of the the 5 bedrooms. Each has its own en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, ceiling fan and deck. Off the main terrace is the Master bedroom, surrounded by colourful bougainvillea flowers. Inside you’ll find a 4-poster bed and fine Kenzo fabrics. His and hers dressing rooms lead to an en-suite bathroom featuring indoor and outdoor rain-head showers and the private terrace has a Jacuzzi bath.

Villa Fleur de Mer is the perfect jumping-off point for many activities. Hike down the nearby trail to Colombier beach and spend the afternoon swimming and snorkeling. Visit the village of Flamands for authentic Creole cuisine or sip a delicious rum cocktail. The shopping, restaurants and nightlife of Gustavia are a short drive away. St. Jean is also about a 15 minute drive and is home to some off the islands most iconic beaches.
