Vacation on a refined note at the stately Villa Shambhala. Situated on a quiet stretch of Long Bay Beach, the five-bedroom villa presents a facade of arched windows and columns to a pristine length of beach. Gracious outdoor living areas let you make the most of the location, while well-proportioned rooms and suite-style bedrooms offer plenty of space and private accommodations.

The back of the villa opens to a covered veranda with an outdoor dining area featuring a grill and bar fridge and a comfortable seating area. Just beyond, a sunny terrace dotted with lounge chairs surrounds an infinity pool and hot tub. Stroll down the path to the beach, where you’ll have one double and two single kayaks at your disposal. After the sun goes down, gather in the media room around the flat-screen TV and selection of Wii games, plug in to the iPod docks and surround-sound system or chat on the Vonage phones.

Inspired by traditional Barbadian homes, Villa Shambhala is furnished in a classic combination of dark wood and white upholstery. French doors to the veranda, cream-colored walls and a high ceiling make the open-plan living and dining room feel airy and bright, while turned-leg tables and wrought-iron chandeliers anchor the scheme. In the media room, the dark wood is paired with striped and floral sofas for a more youthful feel. Just off the dining room lies the breakfast bar and kitchen, which has state-of-the-art appliances.

Each of the villa’s five bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, ceiling fan, multi-room audio system, phone and window screens. The two master suites each have king beds; one has an al-fresco shower and private garden deck, while the other has an al-fresco shower and private garden with fountain. There’s also one bedroom with a queen bed and one bedroom with two twin beds. The fifth bedroom is a private, self-contained unit on the garden level with a double bed, sitting area, small kitchen and its own patio. Additional bedding is available in the media room, where you’ll find two queen sofa beds.

Though Villa Shambhala is on a quieter stretch of beach, it’s not far to the island’s dining and shopping. A 10-minute drive brings you to exercise facilities and the Grace Bay Medical Center, and tennis courts, the Provo Golf Course and a grocery store are all a 12-minute drive away. The downtown area is 15 minutes away by car and the airport is a 20-minute drive.

Relax on your own stretch of world-famous beach at Conch Villa. Set on the white sands and turquoise waters of Grace Bay Beach in the exclusive community of Leeward, the recently remodeled three-bedroom villa is a private hideaway in a gorgeous location. It’s the perfect place to get away from it all, but shopping, dining, golf and tennis are just a short drive away, too.

Conch Villa opens to a terrace with sitting and dining areas and a large freshwater pool surrounded by chaise longues and a hammock. A stroll across the lush lawn brings you to a waterfront deck and a 100-foot stretch of beach. Stay safe in the water with the provided flotation devices, rinse off after a swim in the outdoor shower, have a game on the lawn with the croquet set, prep local seafood on the barbecue and enjoy cocktails in the air-conditioned bar area with iPod sync. For the evenings, the villa has indoor and outdoor TVs, a sound system, board games, Wi-Fi access and air conditioning.

The interiors of Conch Villa are contemporary and neutral, with ocean-inspired shades of sandy beige upholstery, turquoise accents and dark wood furniture in the open-plan living and dining areas. It’s about 6 miles to Turks & Caicos Island Tennis Club, 9 miles to the airport, 10 miles to Providenciales and 12 miles to Cheshire Hall. If you’d like to explore the island’s other beaches, Long Bay Beach is about 4 miles away and Coral Gardens Reef is 5 miles away.
