Villa Beach & Golf Paradise is an exotic six bedroom luxury home located in Punta Aguila, the most exclusive sector of Casa de Campo Resort. La Samanna Sula

Escape to a Mediterranean oasis in the heart of the Caribbean. This luxurious home is one of four villas making up the complex La Samanna—one of our must-visit St. Martin vacation rentals—and boasts a spacious interior and panoramic sea views. St. Martin’s white sandy beaches, eclectic nightlife and temperate climate make it an ideal Caribbean getaway.

Go swimming in the private terrace’s wrap-around overflow pool while taking in stunning ocean and bay views. Afterwards, rinse off in the alfresco shower and stretch out on one of the cushioned loungers with a drink and a good book in hand. Enjoy meals under the covered portion of the terrace that features two circular dining tables. Meanwhile, two large day beds are found on the upper level terrace that also boasts exceptional views, and is a perfect spot for some quiet down time.

The inside of the villa is modern with an airy, open-concept design plan on the main level. The sunken living room opens up to the terrace, and is tastefully furnished with two white sofas, plush armchairs and a flatscreen TV. The interior dining room is located a few steps up from the living room and offers seating for eight at a polished wood table. Nearby, the fully equipped kitchen is brightly finished with soft blue paint, light wooden cabinetry and modern appliances.

Up to eight guests are able to stay in the villa’s three bedrooms. Each suite includes a light blue color scheme, a TV, air conditioning and private en-suite bathroom. Two rooms on the second level also have access to the upper terrace while the bedroom on the lower level opens up to the pool deck.

While staying here, you will have access to the resort’s facilities that include tennis courts, restaurants, a spa, swimming pools and boutiques. Beach lovers can head to the Baie Longue beach, located on the resort. It’s known for being uncrowded and ideal for snorkeling. Meanwhile, the capital city of Marigot’s shops and restaurants are only a 10-minute drive from the villa.

One of three villas on the Aquamare property, the five-bedroom house is tucked behind lush landscaping for privacy, but still has ocean views and is just steps from Mahoe Bay Beach. Rent the villa by itself for a getaway with family or friends, or rent all three for an unforgettable special event. During your stay, a concierge is on-hand to help you enjoy Virgin Gorda.

You’ll want to spend your stay at Aquamare Villa 2 on the terrace, which is stocked with chaise longues and features a heated pool, or at the beach park, just steps from the house. Discover Mahoe Bay with the included kayaks and snorkeling equipment, and prep local specialties on the villa’s barbecue. Enjoy dinner with a view of the sunset over the Drake Channel at the outdoor dining area, then head inside to catch a movie from the house’s collection or browse via Wi-Fi. For the hottest nights, the villa has air conditioning and ceiling fans.

High ceilings, an open-plan layout, traditional furnishings and neutral tones make the villa’s interiors a comfortable haven. The sitting area, which opens to the terrace, features a plump white sofa, roll-arm chairs and a daybed; just beyond, the dining area has a clean-lined Parsons-style table and crisp white slipcovered chairs. The gourmet kitchen is both well-equipped and stylish, with stainless steel appliances and minimalist, flat-fronted wood cabinets.

The five bedrooms at Aquamare Villa 2 include three spa suites, a junior suite and a double room; each has an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, ceiling fan and TV. The three spa suites have king beds, jetted tubs, alfresco showers and balconies, while the junior suite has a king bed and outdoor shower. The double room has two queen beds, a jetted tub and two balconies.

From the villa, it’s a short walk down a path to the beach park shared by the three Aquamare villas on Mahoe Bay Beach. During the day, you’ll find the concierge in a separate building behind the villas. One airport transfer is included in your stay, but it’s just a 10-minute drive from the villa to the Virgin Gorda airport, and a 12-minute drive to town and a grocery store.

Though it’s easy to enjoy the sand and sea from the five-bedroom property, an on-site concierge can help you maximize your stay.

Start each day at Aquamare with a coffee at the sitting area on the terrace, then move to a chaise longue by the private heated infinity pool or a chair on the shared beach that’s a short walk away. Explore the turquoise waters with provided kayaks or snorkeling equipment, prep dinner on the barbecue and enjoy a meal at the outdoor dining area as you watch the sun set over the Drake Channel. Finish the evening with a selection from the villa’s movie collection, send out snaps of the day over Wi-Fi and switch on air conditioning or ceiling fans to stay cool at night.

OLI – Villa Olive

Villa Olive is an outstanding new estate built into the volcanic rock of Gouverneur and offering a breathtaking view over the lush island hills towards the emerald waters of St. Jean Bay. The home is made up of a series of pavilions built in elegant contemporary style, and unified by a series of teak walkways.

Exit the main pavilion and the long infinity pool will make an immediate impression. The lengthy teak terrace is the meeting point of the many pathways, and provides you with loads of options for enjoying the warm island sun. An outdoor gas grill gives you the perfect excuse to source fresh, local seafood and prepare a delicious al fresco feast to enjoy at the outdoor dining area.

The living room occupies its own unit and opens on two sides allowing you to enjoy a soothing tropical breeze while you sink into a couch and gaze up at the cathedral ceiling. An open-sided dining area that seats eight joins the living area to the kitchen pavilion. There you’ll find a kitchen fit for a gourmet chef, where you can get creative and prepare a feast for your fellow guests.

Villa Olive’s four bedrooms provide a comfortable stay for up to eight people. The rooms are all a similar size, with identical amenities. A retractable glass is found in all four rooms that opens on to the front terrace, offering a spectacular view of the ocean. Each room also has a King size bed, en-suite bathroom with rain and regular shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan and entertainment system.
