Tranquility on the Beach

As its name suggests, Tranquility on the Beach is heaven-sent for finding serenity on the shoreline in an exquisite 7-bedroom Caribbean vacation home. Whether you’re seeking a restful retreat with gentle pampering by our competent staff, or a beachfront venue for a private social event, Tranquility is the definitive choice. Artful landscaping dots the grounds with exotic fruit trees and ensures tropical flowers bloom all year-round so hummingbirds and parrots are regular visitors.

The entrance draws you past an indoor waterfall garden to the capacious Great Room, which opens onto an enticing furnished veranda. Marble floors keep you cool underfoot, while sea breezes waft through the wooden louvres. After a full day spent snorkeling on the reef or splashing around with the kids in the pool, you can look forward to a movie or some music in the elegant yet comfortable living room.

Meals here deserve a special mention. Though the state-of-the-art kitchen is fully equipped, you might decide to leave it to the Italian-trained chef. His experience and creativity means you can select a delicious dish from Italian, Spanish or Jamaican cuisines. Two large master suites sit in a private wing, with king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms and access to private verandahs while two smaller en-suite bedrooms lay beyond the living room boasting twin beds and outdoor access. The fifth and sixth bedrooms and bathrooms are ideal for children and are housed in the Beach Cottage across the lawn, which has its own kitchen and living room.

Round Hill and Tryall Club members can enjoy a raft of shared amenities, listed below. Rum Bottle Beach is on your doorstep and Holden’s Reef is 100 yards offshore. Easily reachable by kayak, this live reef is home to a myriad of tropical fish and corals. Further afield Round Hill’s restaurants, shopping and nightlife are a 6-minute drive and it’s 11 minutes to Montego Bay town. Sangster International Airport is 16 minutes by car.
